Martial Law and Concentration Camps
The following video was recently sent to me, and after the shock wore off I started researching this video and story line behind it. What I have learned and seen has lead me to believe Soon they will convince the American people a state of anarchy exists within the major cities, Due to a wave of alleged crime sweeping the nation and false threats from abroad. They are now building their case almost nightly on TV and daily in newspapers. When public opinion has been won over to this idea they intend to state that a terrorist group armed with a nuclear weapon has entered the United States and that they plan to detonate this device in one of our cities. The government will then suspend the Constitution and declare martial law.
All dissidents, which translated into anyone they choose, will be rounded up and will be placed in concentration camps which already exist throughout the country.
The media, radio, TV, newspapers, and computer networks will be nationalized and seized. Anyone who resists will be taken or killed. This entire operation was rehearsed by the government and military in 1984 under the code name REX-84 and it went off without a hitch. When these events have transpired the secret government takeover will be complete. Your freedom will never be returned and you will live in slavery for the remainder of your life. You had better wake up and you had better do it now.

Enron.
That simple, seemingly-harmless corporate moniker can send shivers through the spine of even the most seasoned investor. After the collapse, employees with Enron-heavy 401(k) plans were left with nothing.
But Enron was not unique in the fact that employees had large chunks of their 401(k) plan invested in the corporate stock of their employer. According to CNN and Money Magazine, Procter and Gamble employees have 94.65% of their 401(k) assets invested in company stock, much higher than the nearly 60% that Enron employees had.
The problem doesn’t affect just those who have company-heavy 401(k) plans. It’s a problem that plagues individual investors as well. Perhaps you have a favorite company that you love, and you’ve gradually invested more and more in it, until it has reached an unhealthy amount.
Like many other tragedies, what emerged from the disaster was a reality check for anyone who has too many of their nest eggs in one basket. And if you haven’t done so recently, it may be time to check your portfolio’s diversification.
Most experts agree that you should never invest more than 30% of your assets in one single stock and not more than 15% of your 401(k) in your employer’s stock. If you find yourself in that position, talk to a financial professional about how you can ease out of such a large commitment without giving a chunk back to Uncle Sam.
Here are a few of the potential options available to you:
Stagger your stock sales: It may seem like common sense, but by simply selling equal proportions of your stock over a period of several years, you reduce the amount of capital gains tax owed in one particular year.
Consider gifting it: If you’re feeling generous, you may consider gifting a certain amount of the stock to a child, grandchild or charity. Besides being a great gift, it helps you avoid paying capital gains taxes.
Consider individual cost basis: By carefully selecting for sale the stocks in your portfolio with the highest cost basis, you can minimize the amount of capital gains tax you have to pay.
When it comes to diversification plans, one size does not fit all. It’s important that you talk to a financial professional to create a specific, individualized plan to carefully ease all of your nest eggs out of one basket.
Diversification seeks to maximize the performance by spreading your investment dollars into various asset classes to add balance to your portfolio. However, using this methodology does not guarantee against the risk of loss in a declining market.
This is a great exercise which not only helps improve balance, concentration (by bringing blood to your brain)- and more! Ha, it's a great one to shape up your butt too.

To produce a calibration graph, I have plotted the Absorbance values against the ( known) concentration of a dilution. When I measured a unkown protein, and read the absorbance, I don't know its concentration so I have to read off the concentration in the graph. But how can I do this when I am using excel?
I always thought there must be a way to draw a horizontal
" line" to the calibration curve and second vertical " line" from the calibration to the concentration values.
Problem: I cannot find this function.
Can anybody help?
assuming your calibration curve is linear - y = a + bx where y is absorbance and x concentration (although log(y) = a + b*log(x) might be better…try it!). Then to get the concentration for an unknown sample you solve for x:
x = (y0 - a)/b where y0 is the absorbance for the unknown sample, a is the intercept and b the slope.
in Excel, if you have a column of x's and a column of y's you can use the SLOPE function and INTERCEPT function to get the slope and intercept. Then use the above equation to get the unknown concentration.
I hope this helps.
Footage of a FEMA camp in the US. This is available on Google video too, but because a few people simply still don’t “get it” when they watch the footage from the Indiana Grove camp, let me spell it out with this one.

Gaining focus and maintaining concentration on school, work, or whatever your goal is quite a challenge for most people. Both things however are important if you wish to attain your objectives efficiently and effectively.
Know What You Want.
It is impossible for you to gain focus and concentration if you do not know what you want. Be as specific as possible when describing your goals to yourself. If you know exactly what you want, the better you will be able to focus and concentrate on getting what you want.
Multi-Tasking Are for Computers
And you are not a computer, are you? Since you are not, then do not expect your mind to be able to work like one. Even Einstein had to concentrate on the nuclear bomb exclusively before moving on to something elseless dangerous.
If you wish to be able to accomplish your goal, you need to take things one step at a time.
Divide, Organize, and Conquer.
In relation to doing things one at a time, the best way to gain focus and concentration is by dividing a huge task into smaller sections. Then, you can focus and concentrate on accomplishing one section after another. If you have a project to work on, divide it into sections such as planning, gathering for resources, implementing the changes, and so forth.
If you do it that way, the next thing you know you have already completed the task way before the time allotted for you.
Expect Resistance.
Life is never smooth sailing for anyone in this world, not even for Bill Gates. As such, be prepared beforehand to encounter resistance of sorts to completing your goals. Distraction comes in all shapes and sizes, so it could be anything that would threaten your focus on concentration.
Knowing however that there will be an obstacle to overcome will already help you conquer whatever challenge you are facing and resume your focus and concentration.
Gaining Focus and Concentration Takes Time.
Do not fool yourself into thinking that you will gain instant success the first time you try to follow these tips. Sure, it is possible for that to happen but it is even more possible that it will not. If you have trouble gaining focus and concentration, do not feel worried and give up immediately because what you are going through is normal.
As time passes however, you will see that gaining focus and concentration gets easier every time.
Focus and Concentration are not for Free.
You will always have to give up something to make room for something better. In this case, the price of focus and concentration may just be about anything but its most probably the one thing that causes you the most distraction.
For some, it could be using the telephone during work hours while for some it is their inner struggle for self-confidence.
Do Today What You Can Do Tomorrow.
In simple terms: avoid procrastinating. The earlier you start working on your goals, the better you will be able to gain focus and concentration. If you leave things too late, you will end up being stressed, pressured, and bothered by the ticking deadline. If you work early on the other hand, you will be more able to focus and concentrate because there is nothing else to worry about except to get the job done.
Once you do develop the right habits to be able to gain focus and concentration easily then do not take your ability for granted. Practice, practice, and practice some more!
