    i appreciate your smartass comment, but the “whole point” of the twilight zone show is NOT “that it is a place different from where we are”. the message of the show is that the twilight zone exists all around us in our everyday lives. that anyone, at any time, could slip into it or have an encounter with it. it is this aspect of the show that the viewer has to decide to believe. and never once in my comment did i question the twilight zone being real. got it? good.

    i appreciate the smartass comment, but the “whole point” of the twilight zone show is NOT “that it is a place different from where we are.” the message of these shows is that the twilight zone exists all around us. that anyone, at any time, could slip into or have an encounter with it. that’s the aspect of the show that the viewer has to decide to believe or not.

    what i pointed out in my comment was a few things that occurred in the episode that i felt were a little outdated or kinda iffy.

    either things have changed in the past 40 odd years or this episode is unrealistic with him having to stay overnight in the hospital. today, they would wrap it up & send him to the house. also, he would have probably gotten a “boxer’s fracture” from hitting the door, not the banged up knuckles seen on the pointer & index fingers.

    the episode is also unrealistic in that women, at least in today’s world, will tolerate a jerk if he’s loaded.

    good episode even though you could see it coming.
