It is no surprise that everyone wants to accelerate their productivity (maximum results in minimum time), in their business. But that should not be our main focus. If you want to be dynamic in your business and achieve the impossible you have to learn and focus on using the ultimate skill of leverage.
Leverage here is defined as (maximum productivity with minimum effort). Study the difference in the underlined words above.
It would be physically impossible for one person to manage or grow an organization of 10,000 people. And yet the richest people in the world were able to leverage themselves by creating and managing organizations of 10s of thousands of people. That is the very reason they are rich. For example, Bill Gates managed to create phenomenal leverage. He employs 70,000 people so he is leveraged 70,000 to 1. So how is it that with the imagination, vision, and dream of one person can come an organization of so much productivity. Very simple and very clever.
They discovered the secret of virtualizing the physical enterprise.
The best way to virtualize is simply to leverage human activities and replace them with automated activities.
A great example of how one best-selling author replaced human effort with leveraged automation is Jack Canfield with The Success Principles.
Virtualization is the process of transforming redundant human activities into single efforts
virtual is defined as, results such as replacing many physical activities or materials with virtual sessions or replicas(eBooks).
Now that we understand the importance of these skills and mindset, we see that to work smarter is not necessary working harder or working more. It is knowing how to create leverage and not letting what seems to be your physical abilities get in the way of your mental abilities. Your mind is so powerful it has the ability to work through 10s of thousands of people.
